Instructions:
In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and let the BBQ sauce cool down to room temperature.
Once cooled, you can use the sauce immediately or transfer it to a jar or airtight container for storage.
For the best flavor, refrigerate the sauce for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
