Sticky Ginger Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 1/2 CUP GRATED ONION
- 1/2 CUP PEANUT OIL
- 1/3 CUP RICE VINEGAR
- 2 TBSP WATER
- 2.5 TBSP GRATED FRESH GINGER
- 2 TBSP KETCHUP
- 5 TSP SOY SAUCE
- 2 TSP SUGAR
- 2 TSP LEMON JUICE
- 1/2 TSP MINCED GARLIC
- 4-6 CHICKEN THIGHS
- 3 GREEN ONION STALKS
- 2 LIMES
- SESAME SEEDS TO GARNISH
Instructions
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
- Place chicken thighs into a zip lock bag and add approximately 3/4 of the dressing to cover. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 1 hour.
- When ready to cook, set temperature on Traeger to High and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.
- Place marinated chicken thighs on the grill grate, skin side down. Cook for 10 minutes, flip and cook another 10 minutes.
- Cut limes and green onions and place on chicken. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Enjoy!
